OUR
STORY.
Blessing Lives is a registered NPO with Section 18A PBO status, dedicated to uplifting underprivileged communities through compassionate and sustainable outreach. What started as a simple act of kindness has become a movement of change, touching countless lives and restoring hope where it was once lost.

Since our founding, we have organized numerous community-driven projects aimed at empowering vulnerable populations and addressing pressing social issues. From providing essentials to children in need, mentoring patients in rehabilitation centres, and feeding struggling families to creating educational opportunities that break cycles of poverty—our mission has always been rooted in love, action, and transformation.

But Blessing Lives is more than just an organization; it is a testament to the power of unity, resilience, and the belief that no act of kindness is ever too small. We don’t just offer temporary relief—we build bridges to lasting change. We equip individuals with the resources, skills, and opportunities to rewrite their stories, rise beyond their circumstances, and step into a future filled with dignity, hope, and purpose.

We were founded on the simple yet powerful belief that "every life matters, every voice deserves to be heard, and every heart has the power to give." Together, we are not just helping—we are transforming lives and shaping a better, brighter future for generations to come.
OUR TIMELINE.
2011
Essentials Drive at Don Bosco Church
Approximately 200 underprivileged children, struggling in our educational system due to poverty, received food, clothing, blankets, toys, books, and shoes from the Blessing Lives team. This was one of our earliest initiatives, reinforcing our commitment to supporting vulnerable children and ensuring their basic needs were met.
2014 - 2015
Auckland Park Rehab Outreach
For 10 months, Blessing Lives made Auckland Park Rehab our second home, offering mentorship and emotional support to patients, nurses, and families. This specialized healthcare facility serves adults and children with physical disabilities, and we brought a message of hope, peace, and love, providing meals, encouragement, and unwavering support to those in need.
2015
Day of Hope at Kidshaven Benoni Shelter
We dedicated a full day to creating hope and healing for the children of Kids Haven, a shelter for abused and abandoned street children. Listening to stories of unimaginable hardship—homelessness, substance abuse, and suicide attempts—we reinforced our mission to bring love, support, and dignity. Food, clothing, shoes, and sanitary products were donated to help restore their sense of worth.
2016
Essentials Drive in Malawi & Ladysmith
Malawi, one of Africa’s poorest countries, faces severe poverty, disease, and food shortages, with a life expectancy of just 63 years. Recognizing the urgency, Blessing Lives sent clothing, educational materials, and food supplies to vulnerable communities and committed to ongoing support.
In Ladysmith, we launched another Essentials Drive, ensuring families in crisis had access to necessities, reinforcing our mission to uplift communities in need.
2016
Drive to Unite Education & Essentials Drive
We believe education is a powerful tool for breaking cycles of poverty. Our initiative educated Grade 12 learners from underprivileged schools on critical topics like road safety, career opportunities, social cohesion, and the dangers of drugs. By equipping them with knowledge, we empowered them to make informed choices about their futures.
2021
Urgent Relief & Baby Formula Initiative
During a time of crisis, we provided emergency grocery relief to struggling families and responded to the urgent need for baby formula, ensuring infants had access to essential nutrition.
2023 -2024
Drive 2 Unite
Through our Drive 2 Unite initiative, Blessing Lives has raised over 39,212 packs of pads for underprivileged girls in one of Africas largest Automotive car runs. We aim to elevate period poverty in sub-Saharan Africa to ensure that all females have basic sanitary neccesaties.
